Survey to all grads to gather information:

1. Please list the work that you want included in the End of Year Show (it needn't be completed work as of now). Include medium, size, duration (if motion).

2. Tell us what you want to address about your work, or, in other words, what you address in your work. What is your intent? What is your lens?

3. Do you feel strongly about any ideas that you think should be collectively conveyed in the show? Please comment if so.

 

Physical Design Team

Using input from survey, each team member shares sketches and examples of design approach to accommodates the diverse needs. Examples from other exhibitions that you think would work.

 

For Tuesday, 1-3 different approaches that the team (all 6 of you!) agrees are good directions.

Online Exhibition Team

1. With Online and Physical Teams propose Exhibition palette: Create a "Style Guide" showing the following:

Shapes/Forms (i.e. Frames, boxes, surfaces)

Typefaces (2 or 3)

Colors (no more than 8)

2. Sketches for online exhibition approach and look ‘n feel, aligning with exhibition palette

3. Rough of site map

 

Physical Design Team

1.  With Online and Publicity Teams propose Exhibition palette: (Think practical! i.e. budget). Create a "Style Guide" showing the following:

Shapes/Forms (i.e. Frames, boxes, surfaces)

Materials (i.e. cardboards, tape, paint)

Typefaces (2 or 3)

Colors (no more than 8)

2. Create a Google Presentation compiling the favorite ideas for Physical exhibition from Tuesday's class. Refine the ideas based on the palette that's developed.

 

Publicity/Wayfinding Team:

1. With Online and Physical Exhibition Teams propose Exhibition palette: (Think practical! i.e. budget). Create a "Style Guide" showing the following:
